FATHER

My name is Ryan Michler. I’m a father of 4, including my oldest son, Brecken. 7 years ago, I started a podcast called Order of Man. Brecken took notice and has been watching me grow the movement from nothing into an army of millions of capable men across the planet. I grew up without a permanent father figure in my life and I know first-hand how difficult life can be without a father to initiate his son into manhood. I’ve always dreamed of the day my son would carry the torch of our work to reclaim and restore masculinity. It has finally arrived. Together, we want to give men the tools, resources, and guidance they need to thrive and, through Man in the Making, teach to their sons how to do the same. After all, “If boys don’t learn, men won’t know (Douglas Wilson).”

Hi, my name is Brecken Michler. I am 13 years old and this is my very first podcast and website. My dad started a podcast years ago called Order of Man. I was very interested in how podcasting worked and thought I’d give it a try myself. My goal through this movement is to motivate young men to push themselves to be better people so, when they become men, they have the skill sets to help themselves and others. I started shipping orders for my dad 4 years ago and I saved enough money to buy this website so I can start this movement. My dad and I are using this podcast to talk about drugs, discipline, girls, fitness, money, responsibility, and much more to help other dads have the same types of conversations with their boys.
